    On December 25, 2023, Lootah Group in the United Arab Emirates and Meiyu Group in Sichuan officially signed a joint venture agreement in Dubai, deciding to build a factory in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, with an annual production capacity of 250000 tons of high-precision aluminum rods and aluminum materials. This is the first project launched by Meiyu Group in the Gulf region in response to the "the Belt and Road" initiative.

    Meiyu Group Co.Ltd. was established in 2019. It is a group company that products aluminum rods, aluminum ingots, aluminum profiles, and aluminum plates and strips. Its products are widely used in such fields as construction, decoration, metallurgy, machinery, transportation, electronics, aviation, and military industry. The group has five major production bases, including Meiyu Aluminum Company in Meishan, Qimei Aluminum Company in Guanghan, Guosheng Environmental Protection Company and Meiyu New Materials Technology Co.Ltd. in Guangyuan, and Sichuan Meiyu New Materials Technology Co.Ltd.
